The upcoming week gives a full view of the economy so the data could easily sway the markets. The Conference Board’s Consumer Confidence for September will be released on Tuesday and is one of the key releases set for this week. Economists are waiting to hear if the financial market turmoil is shaking the confidence of consumers. Housing numbers will be released this week as existing home sales comes on Tuesday and new home sales on Thursday. The all-important Core PCE, the Fed’s best gauge of inflation, will finish the week on Friday along with consumer sentiment.
